Frequently Asked Questions
General
EQC is a residential Make Ready and property readiness company that helps Realtors, brokers, property managers, and homeowners eliminate repair obstacles before they delay a sale, inspection, appraisal, or occupancy.
We provide professional repair, replacement, and maintenance services with one goal: returning properties to market-ready condition as quickly and reliably as possible.
Every delayed repair creates uncertainty.
A loose handrail, failed smoke detector, leaking faucet, damaged drywall, or faulty lock may seem minor, but together they can delay inspections, reduce buyer confidence, postpone closings, and consume valuable time.
EQC removes those obstacles quickly, professionally, and with minimal disruption—so our clients can stay focused on selling homes, serving customers, and closing transactions.
EQC is the right choice when:
Time matters more than shopping for multiple contractors.
Numerous small repairs need to be completed by one trusted professional.
A property must be inspection-ready, appraisal-ready, market-ready, or move-in ready.
Delays could jeopardize a sale, lease, or occupancy.
Reliability and communication are just as important as quality workmanship.
When a transaction is on the line, every day counts.
Because small problems shouldn't become expensive delays.
Real estate professionals spend too much time coordinating repairs that distract from serving clients and growing their business.
EQC exists to remove those burdens through dependable service, consistent quality, and rapid execution.
Our purpose is to help people move forward.
Whether that means helping a family buy their first home, assisting a seller in closing on time, supporting a Realtor's reputation, or preparing a property for its next chapter, every repair we complete serves something much larger than the repair itself.
We believe every completed job creates confidence, reduces stress, and keeps lives moving.
A: A handyman fixes problems. A make-ready specialist prepares properties for what comes next.
While the work may include many of the same repairs, a make-ready specialist looks beyond individual tasks to evaluate how the property's condition affects listing readiness, buyer perception, inspection findings, occupancy, and closing timelines.
Our goal is not simply to complete repairs—it's to help ensure that properties are ready for market, ready for occupancy, and ready for successful transactions.
